Welcome to TestBuggy. By using our Chrome extension, website, or any associated services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully before using TestBuggy.

1. Accounts and Authorization

To use TestBuggy, you must sign in using a supported authentication provider (currently Google OAuth). By signing in, you authorize us to access your basic profile information (email address and display name) for the purpose of managing your account and credits.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You agree not to share your account credentials or allow unauthorized access. TestBuggy reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

2. Free and Paid Usage

TestBuggy operates on a credit-based system. Each AI generation (test case or bug report) consumes 1 credit. Upon creating a new account, you receive 10 free credits to explore the platform.

Additional credits can be purchased through our pricing page. Credit packages are available in the following tiers:

Starter: 50 credits for $9.99
Pro: 200 credits for $29.99
Team: 1000 credits for $99.99

All purchases are one-time transactions. TestBuggy does not offer subscription-based billing.

3. Package Validity

Credits purchased through TestBuggy do not expire. Once purchased, credits remain in your account until used. All credit purchases are one-time; there are no recurring charges, auto-renewals, or time-based limitations on purchased credits.

4. No Guarantee of Accuracy

TestBuggy uses artificial intelligence (specifically OpenAI's language models) to generate test cases and bug reports based on your recorded browser sessions. While we strive to produce accurate and useful output, AI-generated content may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies.

You acknowledge that all AI-generated content should be reviewed by a qualified professional before being used in production workflows, official documentation, or critical decision-making processes. TestBuggy is not liable for any damages arising from reliance on AI-generated content.

5. Refund Policy

All credit purchases are non-refundable, as credits are digital goods that can be consumed immediately upon purchase.

Exception: If the TestBuggy service experiences a continuous outage lasting 5 or more consecutive days and you are unable to use purchased credits during that period, you may request a refund or credit compensation by contacting us at testbuggy.extension@gmail.com. Each request will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

6. Modifications

TestBuggy reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify users via email or in-app notification.

Your continued use of the Service after any modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree with the changes, you should discontinue using the Service.

7. Responsible Use

You agree to use TestBuggy responsibly. Specifically, you agree not to:

Use the Service to record, process, or transmit sensitive personal data (such as passwords, credit card numbers, or health records) without appropriate safeguards
Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
Use automated tools or scripts to abuse the credit system or overload our infrastructure
Use the Service for any illegal, harmful, or fraudulent purpose
Resell, redistribute, or sublicense access to the Service without written permission

Violation of these guidelines may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account without prior notice.
